Representations
This research axis approaches Asian societies through their symbolic productions. The researchers involved develop through the study of various subjects – cultures, transcultures, politics, visual arts, performing arts, literatures, religions… – a transdisciplinary methodology deciphering semiotic productions.

By mobilizing the notion of representation, the research project addresses various interactional configurations specific to Asian populations, as well as the relationship between thought/perception/expression.
